Apparel supply chain we know by heart.

Responsible apparel sourcing, made in Indonesia. Six partner factories across Java, every one of them visited in person and known to us for years, and we connect you to them transparently.

  • Six partner factories in Java

Ask us for the numbers.

Here is the one we have. Six partner factories — four in Central Java, two in West Java. That is the whole network today, and we would rather tell you the number than round it up into a claim about a region. Companies in this business usually open with the other figures instead: years in operation, vendors on the roster, offices on a map. Ours are young. Ask, and you get the actual numbers with the actual evidence behind each — which is the same standard we are asking you to hold our suppliers to.

Most agents hand you a factory. Most consultants hand you a report. Then both of them leave.

Artha's ambition is a community of growth within the apparel supply chain. We work client-first: we connect demand to the right supply chain partner and build the best offer around it. We safeguard the trust of our clients and our partner factories in everything we do. And we believe advancement comes only from following through — on what clients and partner factories actually experience, across the whole process.

Responsible sourcing

For clients: we start with product analysis and development, then connect you to a partner factory we have audited on ethical grounds and stood inside ourselves. You get transparent access to that factory's production profile and to the team that does the work — not just a factory name. You get a factual production status report, not a reassurance. Low minimum order quantities and lower surcharge costs are possible because the relationship behind them is strategic.

Management consulting

For partner factories: we support process effectiveness from the product development flow through to its technical detail, and compliance audit and set-up. Our consulting is tailored to each client, to make an organization's own processes work better. All of it is what lets a factory connect with global clients who expect a strategic partnership.

We are the client's sourcing partner and the partner factory's advisor. We add value across the whole supply chain by connecting the best of both worlds, solving problems as they come, and building relationships worth trusting. We work together, we thrive together.

Responsible is a word everybody uses. Here is ours, in four parts you can check.

The maker has a name.

Not "a partner in Java". The workshop, its owner, its floor size and what else it runs. You get that before you commit, and it does not change quietly halfway through a season.

The floor gets seen, not surveyed.

A questionnaire tells you what a factory knows you want to hear. Someone from Artha is physically present throughout the production flow. We are based in Jakarta and the partner floors are either a drive away or a flight away. We do what we have to do to ensure you get factual production progress.

Small orders are welcome.

Minimums in this industry exist to protect the agent, not the buyer. Ours are set by the maker and nobody else, which is how a first order can be small enough to actually test the relationship before you bet a season on it.

You are welcome on site.

Any buyer working with Artha is welcome to visit the makers producing their orders. We believe transparency means opening the door to see where and how products are made. A supply chain should be visible, accessible, and real, not a hollow promise.

Social responsibility & supply chain initiatives

Our network of factories has engaged with and participated in a range of internationally recognized social responsibility, labor compliance, occupational health and safety, ethical trade, and supply chain initiatives — including Better Work Indonesia, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, C-TPAT, and other relevant industry programs and standards.

These engagements support continuous improvement in workplace conditions, responsible sourcing, worker wellbeing, and responsible business practices.

Rolls of cloth racked in a textile store room

Four moves, and you are never the last to know.

You brief us

Product, volume, target landed cost, the standards you have to answer to. One call is usually enough to know whether we are the right people.

We develop and match

Product development and sampling first, then a shortlist of partner factories we have audited and stood inside. You see the shortlist and the reasoning, not just the winner.

We stay on the floor

Through sampling and through the run. Progress, problems and slippage reach you from us, early, in writing.

It ships with a record

Goods, documents, and a production record naming who made what and when.

Typical timings depend entirely on category and volume — ask and we will give you real dates from a comparable run rather than a range that flatters us.

What we can put in front of you today.

  • Woven — shirting, trousers, dresses
  • Knitwear & cut-and-sew
  • Activewear & sportswear
  • Outerwear
  • Workwear & uniforms

Woven and knit start at 1,000 units per order, against a capacity block of up to 100,000 pieces a month. Minimum order quantity is set by the maker, not by us, and varies by category. Low minimums are a deliberate part of how Artha works.

A group of friends in everyday casual clothing

These are the kinds of product our current partner factories can make — and the happy faces we want to see on the people who end up wearing them. More visuals to come.

Not on the list is not the same as not possible. Ask.

Rows of industrial lockstitch machines in an apparel workshop between runs

A workshop between runs. This is the room a buyer working with Artha can walk into. No theatre, no staged visits. Just transparency.

What a buyer asks first.

What is your minimum order?

It is set by the maker, not by us, and it moves by category — woven and knit start at 1,000 units per order. Low minimums are deliberate rather than a concession: we place first runs with workshops sized to take them, so you can test the relationship on one order instead of betting a season on it.

How long does production take?

It depends entirely on category, volume and whether the fabric is in the country. Ask, and you get real dates from a comparable run rather than a range that flatters us.

What compliance can you actually evidence?

Our network of factories has engaged with and participated in Better Work Indonesia, SEDEX/SMETA, WRAP, C-TPAT and other industry programs. Ask about a specific order and you get whichever of them the factory running it can evidence, with the document rather than the logo.

Where are the factories, and can I visit?

Six partner factories — four in Central Java, two in West Java. Artha's own people are based in Jakarta and go to the floors themselves — West Java by road, Central Java a short domestic trip. Any buyer working with Artha is welcome to visit the makers producing their orders.

What can you actually make?

From fashionwear, workwear, uniforms, activewear and sportswear. Both in woven and knit fabrics. Not on the list is not the same as not possible — ask.

Do you only work with international buyers?

No. Both local and international buyers are most welcome to collaborate with Artha.
